Broadland Youth Regatta 2021
Well done to Team Snowflakes for their results at the Broadland Youth Regatta at NBYC, 2nd overall is an awesome result for a small club – watch out for next year!
7 sailors represented the club, with a special mention to Ellie Thwaites for winning the Topper Fleet!

Following a successful Tri-Icicle sponsored by Jeckells the Sailmakers this year, I would just like to say a few thank you’s; that we would normally do at the prize giving.
Firstly to the competitors, for supporting us during these times: it was a lot of fun watching you all go round and we really couldn’t do it without you!
Secondly, to my committee and fellow Flag Officers for their support before and during the race. Many hours were spent preparing to run the race in a slightly different way: we look forward to welcoming you all back to the Island another season.
Thirdly, to all the volunteers on the day: galley, guardships, race officers, results, Rupert’s garden (for starting), safety boats, Alastair and Woody for sorting out the radios (with kind permission from Horning Sailing Club).
Well done to everyone for completing the course in the brisk conditions. The results are out: we have some trophies to find homes for, and the glitzy Tri-Icicle glasses making their way to the top 5.
